Can we Blame God for all the Atrocities in the World?
There are certain things that we plan in our lives and then there are others that are accidental and coincidental. We just bump into them or we can't just help it. So it is not that everything goes ahead according to our plans. At times you may purpose and apparently it may seem like God is disposing every strategy you designed.
But the fact of the matter is that we can't blame God for anything. Ones who say "My God is dead" don't know what are talking about. There are people who believe in the fact that the world is a result of an intelligent design. They do believe that God is an architect of the entire system we are living in. He gave us brain and the authority to choose between right and wrong. So blaming God for the dis-balance in the world doesn't at all make sense.
We do hear nonbelievers asking that where is your God when a poor dies of hunger or a innocent falls victim to the atrocities of a tyrant. But what I could understand is the fact that all the events in the world are governed by cause effect. There is some antecedence which triggers a consequence i.e. Somebody commits a false act and somebody else has to bear the loss. For example Food Safety Modernization Act in US that came as a result of Supreme Court's decision of 1942, states that the federal government can order you to halt food production and can ask you to destroy the reserves citing the precedent set in Wickard v. Filburn in 1942. Now in such a situation if a people in Africa die of food shortage then you can't blame God for that.
So it means that we basically fell victims to atrocities of our own fellow human beings.
So don't be repentant Do the best with what God has bestowed upon you. The Almighty showered you with a wit and the power in you limbs. You may not have the limbs or you may lack the wit but still some how life snails ahead. You can't look into the future but you have your past with all those lesson that can help you do the best with all the available resources. So make the best out of your present rather than lamenting or regretting later.
